This is a wonderful place to eat at. Its not too pricey, but it's definitely more expensive than, say, Chili's or Outback. But the service we got from Anthony was well worth the ticket price. This place of course is geared toward seafood, but they have excellent steak. I had the Anglers Steak, medium rare, with garlic mashed potatoes and seasoned chick peas. The steak was very tender, the potatoes were soft and not too salty or over seasoned, but the chick peas were surprisingly awesome and seasoned with a semi chipotle esque flavor. We had the Bang Bang shrimp as the appetizer. It was wonderful. Like I said we're not big seafood people but the shrimp was amazing. It was deep fried, not greasy, and had a fresh crunch in every bite. My wife had the filet mignon, which I wish I would have gotten. It was also medium rare and it literally melted in your mouth. (Most overly used phrase ever, but it literally melted in your mouth). If you are thinking about eating here, think no more. If you're not too big on seafood, try the steak. But if you're looking for Lobster, this place has the best prices in town. Ask for Anthony!

In a world full of complaining critics when it comes to negative reviews there is little to say about bonefish grille because there is nothing to complain about. I have returned to bonefish grille at least 50 times in the last 3 years and during not one of the visits have i ever experienced a bad meal or negative review. My favorite dish at bonefish is not seafood at all but is the highly acclaimed chicken marsala. The Creme Brulee during the winter months is to die for. And the only thing left to ask is why haven't you dined at bonefish yet?

We dine here at least once every time we are down in Panama! Service is usually great and we always have a good time! Decor is on the modern side but in a comfy way. We always start with Bang Bang Shrimp... and usually there's atleast 7 of us so it ends up being two or more orders of it haha- so good! The fish is always tasting fresh- and you can choose the way it is prepared which is nice because you can switch it up all the time. The servers are also great at recommending what seafood to have with which sauce. Definitely worth a try!

Absolutely loved this place! Started with their signature starter of bang bang shrimp...delish...hope to have the opportunity of having them once more before heading back north! Our server Dorinda was amazing! This was our first visit, she was very descriptive & helpful with the menu, we had the grouper & blackened salmon, it was delicious. We wrapped things up with the jamaican coconut pie with rum sauce..not disappointed, once again, delish! Thanks dorinda & staff for a great meal from start to finish!

Excellent. Immediate seating. Server was great, got drinks quick and was great with the kids. She reccomended the Bang Bang Shrimp as an appetizer, they were delicious. I had the Kobe Burger and it was great. My wife had shrimp and scallops, they were great too. It's priced fairly too. No complaints whatsover with this place. It's not the gimmicky PCB tourist restaurant. We always hunt the "off the strip" type places and this one was a hit. We will definitely go back when visiting PCB. Highly reccomend.

Great place to have a great meal, great conversation with the friendly bartenders and of course an order or two of Bang Bang Shrimp. You will not be disappointed I promise. Bonefish is one of the few chain restaurants that prepares everything fresh daily and not brought in pre-prepped from a corporate commissary kitchen somewhere far far way. If they have the Arctic Char... get it!

I dine alone often, due to the amount I travel. I'm often relegated to the bar or a bad table. I've been to this bonefish grill several times and always been treated very well. Love the Kobe burger and the wagyu beef pot stickers. The house salad is phenomenal.

Bonefish is just an all around good place to eat in Panama City Beach. The food is always pretty good, and the atmosphere is nice. It makes you feel like your at a really expensive restaurant, but is actually fairly affordable.

I went with a group of 9 while on vacation to panama city, and the consensus was that the Kobe burger and the bang bang shrimp appetizer were the best things on the menu. The grouper I ordered wasn't worth the $20+ and people seemed happiest with the cheaper choices. I'd definitely go back, I'd just order something different.

My husband and I were invited to have dinner at Bonefish Grill with friends who live on the beach. They come here at least twice a week for dinner. We arrived at 7p.m. on a Tues. evening. This is not a typical beach restaurant. We were seated promptly. The decor is elegant, the servers are attentive. We ordered the crab cake appetizers and the Bang Bang Shrimp. The crab cake was full of crab and very tasty. The Bang Bang Shrimp was very spicey for me. We were also served a basket of bread which was good but nothing special. My husband and I both ordered the House Salad with the house dressing. We both loved it. It was one of the best house salads I have ever had. He ordered the grilled grouper. He said it was okay but not great. I ordered the grilled scallops and shrimp with a side of garlic butter sauce. I also had the garlic mashed potatoes. My entree and side were fine, nothing to get overly excited about. Our friends ordered the steamed clams as an entree instead of appetizer and the steak. They love this place, obviously, since they come twice a week. I will definitely come back and order something different. We shared the chocolate cake which was enough for 4 people. It was really rich and good.

Dependable! I've never had a bad meal here. Happy hour until 6:30, with $3.00 house wines, ect. Meals are always prepared excellent. We ordered Bang Bang to share for an appetizer, two salads with Blu Cheese Crumbles, and one entree to share. They put it on two plates without asking. We had the Alaskan Salmon and it was perfect! With the bread, this was plenty for two people! With 4 glasses of house Chardonnay, the bill was $54! Not bad for an excellent meal at 6:00.

Salmon with mango salsa, and a side of the summer tomatoes with feta and balsamic I could eat this meal a hundred times and still love it. Service was good, iced tea great, ambiance perfect.

The atmosphere here at this Bonefish is definitely better than the one across the bridge. Nice layout and a large bar area with first come first serve seating. Great selection on draft and everything else by the bottle. As far as the food goes I don't believe that I have ever eaten anything that I didn't like here. The basic menu stays the same but there is a specials menu that changes frequenlty to keep things interesting. Bang Bang shrimp is only $5 on Wednesday which is great but it does get a little packed so plan on waiting in line for a few minutes. Overall is well worth it!

The service and food were excellent. I ordered salmon, shrimp, a steak, mashed potatoes, asparagus, clam chowder, and strawberry salad. The steak, shrimp, and potatoes, clam chowder, and salad were delicious.

This was the first visit, but for sure not our last. Our meals from the special of the day menus were excellent! Service was first class. Dessert spectacular. One of our best meals ever and a great overall dining experience. Very reasonably priced menu for great quality!

My husband & I don't need a menu and only order the bang bang shrimp which is the Wednesday $5 special and the ahi tuna appetizer. Delicious!

Wow!!!! We had s party of 4 and every dish was amazing. We read on yelp about bang bang shrimp so had to give it a try. It is do great!!!! We also had their corn chowder... Great! The specials were such a treat and we ordered what out waiter suggested... He was right!!! We may be back this trip it was sooo good!

  • Deborah L.

Went for dinner on what turned out to be "Bang Bang Wednesday." A little pricey, but the food was good. Corn & crab chowder was good, thick & hot. Bacon wrapped scallops were "YUMMY" according to one in the party. Pecan parmesan crusted trout was great. "Tokyo style" tuna was spicy, if a little over-cooked (was ordered medium rare, but seemed closer to medium on the plate). Will add it to restaurants sought out while on vacation or special occasions.

My family took me here the day after Ironman Florida to celebrate. At first I was dissapointed in this place because we had a horrible table. Where the two tables met was a huge dip. You had to put your drink two people down from you so it wouldn't tip over. The waiter even said there have been many accidents with this table... if that's the case why still have those tables!? Once we got our food it offset the mess of the table. The food was absolutely delicious and a great way to spend a victory!! I started off with the corn cowder. It was yummy but didn't have as much crab in it as I expected. I also had a ceaser salad that was a pretty typical cesar... what really impressed me was my entree. I had the mahi lobster special. It was to die for!! We split a few desserts. I had a couple bites of the coconut pie... wow!! ...and the chocolate creme which was also yum. I'd definitely go back next time I'm in PCB but I would definitely make sure to get a different table! haha

Wow... We would normally never even think about going to a chain restaurant right by the beach where local fresh seafood places are all around but... We decided to try it after reading reviews and we are glad we did. It really was great. Service was excellent and food was hot, fresh and full of flavor. My salmon was grilled perfectly with mashed potatoes and sautéed squash zucchini and peppers onions etc... My wife had very fresh wood grilled scallops that were just perfect over corn risotto. We shared oysters Rockefeller and a bottle of wine too... After tax and tip less than $100... atmosphere was perfect too. Great date night. Bravo and Well Done! Will be back.

This place was absolutely amazing. We signed up for one of Bonefish's "Expedition" meals for six of us, where it was an all-inclusive dinner for six. They do it for special events, charity auctions (which is where we got it) and the like. We're Bonefish regulars, but this is the first time we've gone to the PCB one in a while. The new manager came out to personally meet us, and told us that he wasn't sure what was advertised by the old manager for these special meals, but the way he does things, "he'll bring us food and drinks until we say no more." He meant it! We had five appetizers, five entree's to share, as many mixed drinks as we wanted, two bottles of wine, and several desserts to share. We were stuffed. We found out how much everything would have cost if we did it a la carte, and it was a fraction of what the expedition was sold for. Everything was so amazing, and the service was excellent. We're definitely coming back, and next time we see one of these as a charity auction event, we're definitely getting it!

Been here for an hour and a half and haven't gotten my food. Place closes at 9pm, it's 9:16... Just. Plain. Horrible. Glad I don't live here in Panama Beach. ***Bonefish grill contacted me after this review about resolving the issue. Not only from a stores point, but from a companies as well. I surely appreciate the time and effort, so I gave them 3 stars, instead of the original 1 star. They can't erase my experience, but I hope they create a better way to resolve or avoid issues like mine to future customers.

Culinary masterpieces. Drinks on point, food to die for, and service was excellent! Started with a pomegranate martini- perfection. Dinner was the Tilapia Imperial- stuffed with shrimp, scallops, crabmeat + lemon caper butter= so delicious. Side- White Truffle mac & cheese= such creamy goodness! now that I know there are a few in the Houston area I am definitely going to visit again!

Dear Bonefish Grill, It was like love at first sight for me & you. I can't get you out of my mind after our first encounter, so here I am pouring my feelings out to give you a truthful review. The truth is, I'm crazy for your BANG BANG SHRIMPS!! Chain Chain Chain - usually an automatic NO NO NO for me. However, Bonefish Grill isn't your typical "taste like it came out of a frozen box" food. I decided to try their signature dish the "Bang Bang Shrimps" that was raved about from friends, and of course fellow YELPERS!! (Thank you, guys & gals) BANG BANG SHRIMPS: Breaded shrimp in a spicy cream sauce on top of lettuce. I can eat this for days and not get tired of them! I'm serious. While I was visiting Panama City Beach I've had the Bang Bang Shrimps for at least twice a day. Maryland Crab Cakes: These crab cakes were so crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside. The spicy remoulade gave these crab cakes an extra layer of flavor on top of the yummy crab cakes. Tilapia with chimichurri sauce and mashed potatoes = Awesomeness!! To be honest, I don't like fish at all, but I absolutely love this entree. The Tilapia is so fresh and the bones are all taken out of. Yay! The Chimichurri sauce added an exotic flavor to the Tilapedi, and the mashed potatoes is just delicious. Lobster with cheese = fatness overload! The lobster are cut into small pieces mixed with cheese on top. It's very creamy & fatty. Ask for some lemon to squeeze on top of the lobster. Overall, my first experience was amazing. I've always wanted to try the BANG BANG SHRIMPS and I finally had the chance to. Love you, Bonefish Grill

Dang I wanted this to be good. Food was ok, not awesome not too bad. However, we waited a full hour before getting our food after we placed the order. I have been a fan of Bonefish for several years but no longer. Service and quality has diminished. I have witnessed this especially over the past 6 months. They now flood my inbox with discounts constantly - that is another sign business is declining. The last dinner was a huge disappointment. Steak was not the cut they claimed and overly salted as were the potatoes and the snap peas were soggy and limp. My wife's salmon was dry and chewy. Sad to see a great place fall below their lower standards, but so be it. There are plenty of other restaurants that seek business.

The service was excellent and so was the food. We walked in at 6:30 on a Saturday and were immediately seated. Only wrinkle was your reservation needs a 2 hour buffer. We called at 4:55 and couldn't make a reservation until 7:00. Highly recommend this restaurant!

With so many wonderful fresh gulf seafood restaurants in the area, why would I waste my time at a chain restaurant that doesn't even serve gulf seafood??? Certainly everything on the menu arrives to the store frozen... There isn't a warm water fish on the menu! I'm not a fan of commissary chains anyway, so I wasn't setting my standard very high. If you want good pork chops, this will work. I guess I don't understand why folks on vacation settle for the same old same ole...

When we arrived the wait was 45 minutes. We were finally sat at our table and the waiter took our order for drinks. We ordered two raspberry teas which took 15 minutes to get. The Bang Bang shrimp comes highly recommended so we ordered it, it arrived fast and was great! The waiter took our order but never brought us bread that comes with the meal, it took us to ask for the bread to get it. The wait time for our food was horrible, we waited 45 minutes to get our food. The food was great, we ordered fish tacos, scallops, tuna, shrimp and grouper. My only concern was that the grouper tasted very fishy, normally grouper is a mild tasting fish. Our biggest disappointment was our waiter and service. He was not very personal, no smiles or small talk. I don't think he gave us his name. Honestly his service was what made our experience the biggest negative for the whole night. We will probably never return, with so many restaurant options in Panama City Beach to consider our memory of the visit will keep us away.

Never a dissapointment at Bonefish!!! We look for one of these everytime we are out of town. We got the potstickers & crab cake for appetizers, along with bang bang shrimp for our girls for their main meal. I got a filet & my husband got the lilly's chicken. Everything was great but the Lilly's chicken was a bit on the bland side. The augratin potatoes are the best side thay have. So yummy!!!

Bonefish may be a chain restaurant, but it's one of my favorite alternatives in PCB to Captain Anderson's and other similar over-priced tourist traps if you're not looking for fried seafood. The food is good here, it's priced right, the decor is nice and modern, and our server was awesome

Oh this place was great! We started with the bang bang shrimp...yummy!! Here from Austin, TX enjoying some R&R. Us Austinites are particular about our food and this place was a winner. Son had the salmon burger, he ate it in one bite and says it was great but not sure he tasted it. Hubby had steak and crab cakes, it was a winner and he is picky! I had the tuna and it was a slam dunk, so yummy.

Let me start by saying this...we despise chain restaurants. However, we have been to this particular Bonefish now a few times, and the service has been excellent. Tonight we went for my mother's birthday. Though I was disappointed that they goofed the reservation (I specifically asked for, and they confirmed on the phone that we would have a table, not a booth), they recovered and got us seated right away. As they were slow and had just opened, the server was careful not to be over-attentive. Appetizers were good...calamari was crisp and I could tell it was fried in fresh oil. My dinner was a pecan crusted rainbow trout...and it was excellent. All others at the table were happy with their meals. I was also relieved to see that to wish my mother a happy birthday, the manager brought her a small box of chocolates and wished her a happy birthday...no dance line of clapping servers, thank God! To finish, I had a cup of coffee...fresh and strong...and they served fresh cream.

We were looking for casual location for lunch; however, we spotted this while in route and decided to gave it a try. Our party of four had three different selections: fish tacos, kobe burger and salmon sandwich. Our choice for sides was either greens salad or their homemade chips and we were two for two. The food was promptly served and excellent! We were looking forward to round two for those of us (the ladies) who had leftovers. The service was very friendly and timely. As they got busier, service did lapse a bit. Noted wear and tear on some of the booths and tableclothes, which wasn't impressive. Overall a very good experience.

We went there for my Mwommy's birthday on July 18th when we were confronted by Jason Parker, Proprietor; who said that service dogs must be on the floor. When we told him that as a small breed service dog, I could not do my job; we were told that it was corporate policy. They are interfering with the duties of a service dog in violation of the American Disability Act!

This is BFG at its best. Our server was the "training coordinator", he told us. He was great: very attentive, friendly, etc. Not all Bonefish Grills are created equal, and this one was spot-on.

I came with my family and we were a party of 7 with a 4 year old. We got 4 different appetizers because everyone wanted something different. On top of the complimentary bread and the four dishes we thought it was going to be too much food. It's actually a good thing we ordered so much. The bang bang shrimp was awesome and so was the ceviche. The calamari was alright and so was the oysters. I've had better but they weren't bad either. Our reservation was at 6:30 and we didn't get our entree until 8 pm.... It was around a hour wait for our food to come out and by the time we got it I was really disappointed when I saw my food. I ordered the scallops and shrimp and for 18 dollars it was really disappointing. They gave me 5 scallops and 5 shrimp that wouldn't have filled me up if I hadn't eaten a majority of the appetizers. Everyone in my group also didn't get that much food on their plate. My aunt got the fish tacos and she ended up getting the most food. My cousin ordered the white truffle Mac and cheese as a side but he never got it until we were all done with our food. Our waitress told him she would bring it out when she initially brought our food but she must have forgotten. So overall the experience was okay just a little annoying. Not worth the money at all in my opinion...

Went on a Tuesday night around 7. Parking was no problem. Seated quickly as there was no waiting line. Wasn't crowded. Struck me as a seafood version of Olive Garden atmosphere wise. We started off with the bang bang shrimp. They brought out a good sized bowl but the bottom half was stuffed with lettuce. There were about a dozen shrimp on top of it though. They list them as spicy but they're not. I thought they were good but the wife thought they were excellent. We followed this up with her ordering the scallops and shrimp with no sauce as well as garlic mashed potatoes while I ordered Rhea's swordfish with Au Gratin potatoes. Both came with their seasonal medley of some zucchini and tomato dish. After about 30 minutes our server came to apologize for the hold up and advised it was due to them being out of Au Gratin potatoes. Why it took so long to realize that when the place wasn't even half full is beyond me, but it was also an additional 10 minutes before we got our food. My swordfish with the spinach and crab on it was pretty good. Seemed overly buttered but good. Potatoes were good but are served looking like a lunch lady has just used an ice cream scoop to plop them on there. The medley didn't interest me but the wife said it was good. She also really enjoyed the shrimp and scallops. For dessert I got the seasonal cheesecake with some kind of peach sauce I forget and the wife got the creme brûlée. Cheesecake was a small piece and nothing special. The peach sauce was disgusting. Like debate on taking another bite to see if it was really that nasty or just letting it go kind of bad. Ate the cheesecake the sauce didn't touch and shared the brûlée. It was pretty good. Almost forgot to mention the drinks. The wife got a frozen daiquiri. Said it was above average. I got sweet tea that was little more than sugar water with a slight brown tint. Our server Kayla was very nice, but overall I was not impressed with our $75 experience considering all the good reviews.

Pretty, low lighting artsy hipster type place that seem to attract locals. Was not impressed with the food. It was so busy they claimed they ran out. Took a good hour to be seated at a table. Food came off as vacuum sealed dishes.

Wonderful experience there tonight we started our date with a pineapple martini (wonderful light and super refreshing) for appetizer we had the Bang Bang Shrimp(if you go on Wednesdays if is just 6$) my husband's first time being here he loved it!! For entree he go the sirloin topped with bang bang shrimp with the au graten potatoes he said it was beyond perfect so fresh and a very nice cut of meat. I got the scallops and shrimp with the lemon butter sauce on the side with fresh vegetables and the au graten potatoes. Overall it was definitely one of the best chain restaurants around PCB our entire ticket was 52$ considering that is low compared to the ticket at Pineapple Willys or Margaritaville. We will definitely be coming back!!

We went for dinner last night, and enjoyed the specials on lobster tails. They were priced at $8 broiled or fried. My Kobe burger wasn't as good as it usually is, but everything was good. Great appetizers as always and getting in around 6:30 still allowed us to beat the dinner crowd. I guess everyone was still at the beach!

My family and I went in on a Wednesday for the shrimp specials. We fully enjoyed the house wine for happy hour as well as our service throughout the whole meal. We had an issue with our meal. Once the server knew about it him and the night manager fixed it so quickly we didn't have much time to even be upset about a thing. The whole dinner was an awesome, relaxing, and delicious family dinner.

FOOD: A SERVICE: B+ AMBIANCE: A FOOD: The muscles appetizer was quite good, in fact it was top notch. We opted for having the Filet Mignon for entrees since we had been eating seafood throughout PCB the entire week. I have no complaints about the steak, it was really good and perfectly cooked. The sides of fresh asparagus and a potatoe like casserole were on point as well. SERVICE: Our waitress performed very well - cool, calm and efficeint (could have been a little more personable). I could not giver her an "A" after watching the service the table next to us received. I mean wow, they were getting all kinds of information about specials, etc. Overall, good job. AMBIANCE: Bonefish Grill is a medium to large sized restaurant with a nice bar area. Dimmly lit, with loads of earthy warm wood tones. It has an upbeat Pub like feel to it. Qualifies as "nice casual". Dress up if want (or not) and you will be just fine either way. Bonefish Grill is a national chain restaurant. While many will find that unappealing, I think there is a lot good to be had here and highly recommend giving it a try.

If I could give this particular restaurant 10 stars I would. After a horrific experience at Saltwater Grill I just wanted to find a place for the whole family could eat and not get treated like pests. Well I definitely found the right place. Just walking in the door the host was extremely pleasant and greeted us than proceeds to take us to a table but we opted for the booth since we have 2 kids with us. Was quoted a 15 mins wait but was seated earlier then expected. My hubby was still getting drinks at the bar :) our server was very friendly and very knowledgeable. Always checked up on us and offered us a variety of options and desserts. Had the Tuesday lobster and steak special and it was fantastic. Everything came out on point and we even ordered extra lobster for the girls. The drinks were great as well. I ordered the blood orange martini and had the option of a regular martini glass or one made up of ice. Now thats cool! Overall I loved loved LOVED this place and definitely can recommend it to everyone who would want to give this place a go.

Delicious! Recently had Bang Bang shrimp, always delicious, with the seasonal pumpkin ravioli & pumpkin creme brulee for dessert. Very memorable meal! Very friendly wait staff. It was my birthday & I was given a very nice complimentary box of scrumptious chocolates!

The Bang Bang shrimp was good, but not really spicy at all if you eat spicy food with any regularity. My main dish was something with the word "imperial" in it -- a stuffed tilapia. It was all delicious, and I'd come back if I were with a group of people who aren't super adventurous with food, but I would have appreciated them being a bit more daring with the spices.

I'd definitely go back next time I'm in PCB but I would definitely make sure to get a different table! haha

Amazing food!! Amazing service! I have a 15 month old and they catered to her needs. Making sure she had everything first and even going out of their way to find her a small spoon to eat with.

Dang I wanted this to be good. Food was ok, not awesome not too bad. However, we waited a full hour before getting our food after we placed the order. Then my sons lobster bisque had a hair in it. Doohhhh man won't come back to this one. We ate a different Bonefish and it was great but not this one.

Always start with the Bang Bang Shrimp. Also you have to try the Pumpkin Ravioli, it was very delicious. The service was great . Will ddefinitely go back to this location.

Delicious! Recently had Bang Bang shrimp, always delicious, with the seasonal pumpkin ravioli & pumpkin creme brulee for dessert. Very memorable meal! Very friendly wait staff. It was my birthday & I was given a very nice complimentary box of scrumptious chocolates!
